This year's Geoffrey Norman Day in Education Research will be held on Wednesday, June 6th, 2018.
The inaugural Faculty of Health Sciences Education Research Day recently took place on June 10th, 2016. The day was filled with presentations and posters on education research and scholarship from across the Faculty of Health Sciences from professors, students, clinicians, and trainees alike. We also had three incredible speakers that composed our Expert Panel (Dr. Kevin Eva, Dr. Martin Pusic, and Dr. Matt Sibbald) and to close the day, Dr. Kevin Eva gave a Plenary Talk on "Rater Based Assessment". All events were held in the Michael DeGroote Centre for Learning and Discovery (MDCL), except the Networking Lunch which was held in the Health Sciences Library. We hope that this year set the stage for an annual day to build community and have conversations around education research and scholarship.
To acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our oral and poster presenters, 4 of them were awarded with certificates for the Best Overall Oral (1st and 2nd Place) and the Best Overall Poster (1st and 2nd Place). The winners and their presentation titles are listed below.
Kristen Lucibello - 1st Place Oral
